WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO HAVE INTEREST AND JOIN OUR ORGANIZATION? 지원동기, 자기소개:

First of all, I am grateful to find this valuable opportunity for being together in sharing knowledge. My name is Woohyun Tak, a freshman at Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies. I also recognized the seriousness of increasing polarization in education especially in Korea, hence I hoped to abate this problem through our actions. Having experience in educational volunteering for young students and organizing mentor-mentee programs in middle school, I am full of passion to participate in this project. I want my lecture useful for not only those who prepare for AP courses but also for those who have difficulties in following the high-school materials due to several reasons. I have unique teaching skills to help the student comprehend more easily, aside from root education. I can engage in teaching subjects written below, and I will put my best effort into making high-quality education. Thank you so much!!

ARE THERE ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (EX. AP SCORES) OR SPECIFIC REASONS WHY YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SUBJECT PICKED ABOVE?:

THE main reason is that I am highly interested in not only studying our society but also mathematical analysis. I noticed that some students are experiencing difficulties in studying social studies including economics, politics, or 통합사회. Therefore, I sincerely hope to share the joy of learning with them as much as possible. Even though 사회학 and 국제정치학 are not included in regular courses, I want to discuss related knowledge with students who are interested in the same topic. In a recent AP exam, I got a 5 in both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Also, I have confidence in teaching the fundamentals of calculus and other high-school materials since I was absorbed in studying them for more than a year.

WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING IN THE FUTURE? 본인은 미래에 어떤 일을 하고 있을것 같나요?:

I would be an agricultural analyst in 10 years who both develops appropriate technologies and suggest practical policies. It is because my goal is to contribute to combating the increasing global poverty and threatened food security. Even though my dreams might change, I am sure that I will endeavor to do something more justful and beneficial to assisting social minorities and solving our society's problems.
