WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO HAVE INTEREST AND JOIN OUR ORGANIZATION? 지원동기, 자기소개: I friend of mine told me about the (WLTS's) concept, and I really agree with it, and admire what you do. There is a big difference in the cultural capital of the upper class and the working class, and I believe that it is very important to bridge that divide, as without bridging this gap, we cannot begin to make progress on closing the inequality gap. My name is Polina, I am Russian Korean, and I love books, I've loved reading since a very early age, and have always found it easy to analyze and understand literature as I continued to grow up, and realized that I can help my classmates, so I started making videos on youtube, and then other people from all over the world started to reach out. I realized that I can help those who are less privileged than me, and who have not been exposed to such large amounts of information. Those who are not so well read, and do not know where to begin. This is why I would like to join the website too, as it is a chance to continue to help, and to also meet like minded individuals.
ARE THERE ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (EX. AP SCORES) OR SPECIFIC REASONS WHY YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SUBJECT PICKED ABOVE? :
My youtube and my instagram channel: polinaspages I also got 100% for English Literature GCSE CIE. I want to help because literature is my true passion, and I am constantly reading something, so helping to analyze is not a problem at all, this is the perfect occupation for me. I love to read literature from all over the world, and can read in English, Russian, French. My Korean is intermediate level, so I cannot really read harder books in Korean, although I am working on that too.
WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING IN THE FUTURE? 본인은 미래에 어떤 일을 하고 있을것 같나요?:
I would like to get a PHd in literature, the topic being something to do with either the Romantic or the postmodernist period. I would also like to do law, so I am working out right now, how I can do both. I am definitely planning to continue with YouTube though, both as a side income, and as a hobby, since I really enjoy the entire process, from initially reading the book, to the finished product of a (hopefully) interesting video.
