AP Macroeconomics and AP Biology

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO HAVE INTEREST AND JOIN OUR ORGANIZATION? WITHIN YOUR ANSWER, PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER IN A COUPLE OF SENTENCES. 지원동기, 자기소개:

I was born in Korea and raised in Daejeon for more than ten years. I moved to California when I was 7 years old, and to Minnesota two years ago. I was also a Cheongshim International Student in Korea for 2 years before I came to Minnesota as a High School Student. I am currently a Sophomore at Wayzata High School in Minnesota, and I can flexibly speak English, and Korean, and free-talking in Spanish. I decided to join WLTS when I first worked as a TA in elementary school. I thought the education that students had had to be eligible for everyone, no matter their ethnicity or financial situation that one person is facing towards the society. Therefore, helping teachers in school drove me forward to join WLTS which is an organization that aims to resolve the problems of education, and tries to reach as many students as possible around the globe.

ARE THERE ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (EX. AP SCORES) OR SPECIFIC REASONS WHY YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SUBJECT PICKED ABOVE? :

I chose AP Biology because I was confident about them and I want to share my knowledge with people. Currently, I do not have any AP scores since I am a sophomore who is waiting for AP Test, but if I can be a member of WLTS, I will try my best to teach. I have been exposed to STEM subjects since my family members are all related to them, and I think I can share my knowledge in Chemistry. I took Enriched Physical Science and Chemistry Honors (all As) throughout my high school career, and my grades prove that I can truly share some of my chemistry stuff (not AP yet). As I am planning to take AP Macro this year as well, if I could be a member next year as well, I can be another candidate that can teach AP Macro, too.

WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING IN THE FUTURE? 본인은 미래에 어떤 일을 하고 있을것 같나요?:

The future that I imagine is not quite clear since I do not have a firm job that I would like to have. However, I am confident that I would be working in the STEM field, especially in medicine or BME/Chemical engineering. The future that I always thought about is not only the job that I expect to have as an adult, but the process of contributing to society and trying to make a better world for the future generation is what I will be doing in my future.
