I am compelled to join We Learn To Share for its mission to bridge the gap for the underprivileged and for those who do not have access to education. I was especially inspired by Seungeun Lee, the founder of We Learn To Share, and her story that anyone, regardless of where we are from, can take part in addressing educational inequality. It reminded that me that the solution to global issues starts with personal action and advocacy.

Educational inequality is an issue that had always resonated with me. As a volunteer and teaching assistant at my local multicultural children's center, I have seen firsthand how multicultural children and families lack access to hagwons, books and other educational resources. Cost should never be a barrier to education. Just as Seungeun, I felt that inequality up close. It made me reflect. It made me feel that things had to change. And it made me know that I had be a part of that change.

I am stubbornly eager. When I am immersed in a problem, I won't let it go.

I am unconventional. I do not settle with the status quo; I welcome change.

I am collaborative. I am excited to join a community united in its fight for equal educational opportunity for all.

I am currently enrolled in the IB DP program. Economics and Business Management are both of my HL courses. I am predicted to receive 7, the maximum score, in both subjects. Spanish B is one of my SL courses. I am predicted to also receive a 7.

Besides achievement, all three subjects are my favorite courses in my curriculum. I am interested in pursuing a career in economics and business management. In economics, my favorite units are behavioral economics and agglomeration economies. While in business management, I enjoy both marketing and human resource management units. Economics and business management provide fundamental insight to social interactions between nations. I would love to share my knowledge of both subjects so that more students can have a firm understanding of their local economy and businesses.

Spanish has been a language that I have consistently been learning for six years. I have stuck to it because I love traveling and enables me to read global media. I would love to share my knowledge for spanish, as I believe that it is magical that language allows for people of different places to connect and share their stories.
