The Blue Tree Foundation (The Foundation for Preventing Youth Violence) is a Youth NGO that has been granted a special consultation status by the UN Economics and Social council. It was founded for the first in South Korea by a father of an only son that has chosen death at a beautiful age of 16 as a victim of school violence in June 1995, sacrificing everything and hoping there would never be another unfortunate father like him in the world to raise awareness of the seriousness of school violence to citizen society and to prevent and cure school violence.
푸른나무재단은 1995년, 학교폭력의 피해로 아들을 잃은 아버지가 우리나라 최초로 학교폭력의 심각성을 시민사회에 알리고 학교폭력 예방과 치료를 위한 활동을 목적으로 설립된 비영리공익법인입니다. 사회적 약자와 고통받는 아이들의 인권을 위해 노력하며, UN경제사회이사회에서 특별협의지위를 부여받은 청소년 NGO입니다.
푸른나무재단과 We Learn to Share는 청소년을 위한 지식나눔 콘텐츠 번역, 사이버폭력 예방 등의 캠페인 영상 제작을 함께하고 있습니다.
